Freedom & Opportunity for Every South Dakotan.
We believe that every South Dakotan, from every race, class and walk of life, should have the freedom and opportunity to live out their American dream.
Who We Are
The Republican Party of South Dakota is dedicated to preservation of our Republic, its ideals, and institutions for the good of all Americans and adamantly opposing the erosion of these cherished freedoms. Keeping South Dakota a great place to live, raise, and nurture a family.
What We Believe
We believe in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age or ability.
The strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person’s dignity, liberty and integrity must be honored. The Party supports our heritage of religious freedom and personal responsibility.
We recognize the free enterprise system and the work ethic of our people as the foundation of our economic success and security.
We believe that responsible leaders are mindful of the fundamental principles of the Constitution and neither burden nor hinder individual rights and efforts.
We believe the most effective and responsible government is the government closest to the people and provides for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations.
The Best Government is that Which Governs Least.

From the Chair…
I’m thrilled to help revitalize the SD GOP, to facilitate more citizens getting engaged and involved, networking with one another, organizing more Counties, and helping elect the best Constitutional Conservative Republican representation that we can to serve “We the People”.
We live in one of the most beautiful, and conservative, states in America. We must work diligently together to keep our freedoms, earn a living, raise a family, practice religion, and live our lives as we see fit. If you agree with me, join us—we welcome you to the table, because in South Dakota—Under God, the People Rule!
